Oakhaven is a fully private rental property, there are no shared spaces and no other guests. When you book, you have the log cabin, the cottage, the braai area, fire pit and garden entirely to your group.

The property sleeps up to 12 guests (10 adults + 2 children 12 & under) across four bedrooms and three bathrooms, with a shared kitchen, living and dining area in the main log cabin.

Perfect for families, groups of friends, or anyone who wants the whole place to themselves in one of the most beautiful areas of South Africa.

The heart of the log cabin — warm timber walls, tartan bedding and morning light through the windows. The bunk beds make it perfect for families travelling with younger children.

A beautifully appointed room in the main log cabin, with warm lamp light, a reading corner and views of the garden. Ideal for a couple or two guests sharing.

The Loft

Running the full length of the cabin upstairs, the loft is a generous space with four single beds, large wooden windows and the dramatic beamed ceiling of the log cabin above. Great for kids or a group of friends.

The Cottage

Queen bed + ensuite · Sleeps 2 adults

A separate cottage with its own character — raw corrugated iron, exposed brick, a sliding barn door and an ensuite bathroom. Private and quiet, with its own fireplace and morning light through the triangular window. Perfect for a couple wanting a little space from the rest of the group.

The Lounge

Rattan chairs, a wood-burning log burner, wooden walls and the kind of armchair you disappear into. The heart of the log cabin on a cold evening.

The Deck

A long outdoor dining table, Edison bulb lighting and mountain views as far as you can see. The best seat in the house — especially at sunset.

Entertainment Area

A dedicated braai area and fire pit for alfresco entertaining under the Berg sky. Whether it's a slow braai afternoon or an evening around the fire, this is where the group gathers.
